Busch Stadium project completion

St. Lous, MO, November 1, 2005 -- S&S Seating today announced that they have completed the memorabilia stadium seat removal process at Busch Stadium and have shipped out all of the collectible stadium seats.

S&S Seating, in partnership with Archer Seating, began removing the Busch Stadium seats in the weeks following the Cardinals' final home game on October 19th, 2005, and completed the removal and shipping process on schedule.

Since its inaugural game 1966, The stadium served as the home of the St. Louis Cardinals National League baseball team for its entire operating existence, while also serving as home to the National Football League's Cardinals from 1966 to 1987. It opened four days after the last baseball game was played in Sportsman's Park (which had also been known since 1953 as Busch Stadium).

S&S Seating was contracted by the St. Louis Cardinals to remove, box and ship the thousands of Busch Stadium memorabilia stadium seat pairs, which were sold to fans and collectors. "The seat removal process in Busch Stadium was a huge success," said Dale Sprinkle, President of S&S Seating.

"We appreciate all of the help from the local St. Louis unions involved in this project. We hope that all of the Cardinals fans that took advantage of this unique opportunity to own a piece of historic Busch Stadium enjoy their memorabilia stadium seats!"
